Saving exercises and local storage
How custom teaching scenarios, readiness validation, and damaged-storage recovery work under the krkic:v1 browser key.
Authoring your own Saturday scenario
Arrange the board in Coach mode, draw any yellow arrows or target zones, select the player your child will control, and open Setup. Fill in a title, learner objective, required decision (Pass, Movement, or Defensive position), evaluation criterion, and takeaway note.
Pivot checks that the exercise can actually be solved before enabling "Save current setup". For example, you cannot save a pass exercise if the chosen learner does not have the ball, or if the ball is loose.
What lives in localStorage under krkic:v1
Saves debounce at 400 ms and flush immediately when the tab hides or closes. Practice attempts and replay scrub positions are never written over your durable board: reloading mid-attempt cleanly restores the starting board.
If localStorage is blocked by strict browser privacy settings, Pivot switches to session memory and shows an amber banner at the top of the workspace so you know to keep the tab open.
